This policy explains what information is collected when you use www.webfusiontools.com (“WebFusionTools”, “we”), and how you can control it.

What you type into a calculator

All calculators run in your browser. The numbers and dates you enter are not sent to us or stored on any server. If you use “Copy link with these numbers”, your inputs are placed in the part of the link after the # sign, which browsers do not send to the server.

What we keep on your device

Your browser’s local storage holds three things, and none of them is sent to us: your preferred currency, so the next calculator opens with it selected; your light or dark choice; and a short list of the guides you read here, with whether you used the calculator on them but never what you typed. That list holds the last 12 guides; a guide stops counting after 90 days and is dropped the next time the list is updated. It is used only in your browser, to suggest what to read next. During a visit, session storage also keeps a copy of the public list of guides, which goes when the tab closes. You can erase it with the “Clear my reading list” button under the suggestions, and all three by clearing your browser’s site data.

Email alerts

If you subscribe to our alerts, we keep your email address, the language of the form you used and the country you chose. Kit (kit.com, United States) stores this list and sends our emails on our behalf, and it asks you to confirm the subscription by email first. We use the list only to send the alerts you asked for, at most twice a month. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your details at support@webfusiontools.com. Kit’s handling of the data is described in the Kit privacy policy.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Blogger, a Google service. When you visit, Google receives standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, as described in the Google Privacy Policy. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser type in the same way.

Advertising and cookies

We show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, to limit how often you see an ad, and to measure ad performance. Depending on your choices and where you live, ads may be personalised based on your visits to this and other websites.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent message before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used, and can change their choice at any time.

Links to other sites

Guides link to government and other external websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
