Editorial policy
This page explains how WebFusionTools researches, builds, checks and updates its calculators and guides.
Sources
Labour calculations are based on the published text of the law, not on summaries:
- Saudi Arabia: the Labor Law issued by Royal Decree No. M/51, with its amendments, as published by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers.
- United Arab Emirates: Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 on the Regulation of Labour Relations and its Executive Regulations, as published by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
- VAT rates: the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (Saudi Arabia), the Federal Tax Authority (UAE), and the tax authorities of Bahrain and Oman.
Finance calculators (loans, savings, ROI, break-even) use standard formulas from financial mathematics. Each guide prints the formula it relies on.
How a calculator is checked
- Every worked example in a guide is recalculated with the calculator on that page, and an automated test fails if a printed figure no longer matches it. Tables show the calculator’s exact result; figures in running text are rounded from it.
- Each calculator has automated tests covering normal cases and edge cases, such as service under one year, the UAE two-year cap, leap years and a payment too small to clear a debt.
- Where the law leaves room for interpretation, the calculator says so and shows the assumption it makes. An example is the UAE daily wage, which some employers work out as basic ÷ 30 and others as basic × 12 ÷ 365.
Reviews and updates
Each guide shows the date it was published. We review a guide again whenever the rule behind it changes, for example a labour law amendment or a VAT rate change, and at least once a year. When a review changes a result, we say what changed and when.
Use of software and AI tools
We use software tools, including AI writing assistants, to help draft and proofread text. A person checks every figure, formula and legal reference against its source before a page is published. No calculator result is generated by AI: each one is computed by code we wrote and tested.
Independence
The site is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Advertisers do not see pages before publication and cannot influence them. We do not publish sponsored content or paid reviews.
